Customer challenges

Our client involved significant challenges in processing foreclosure-related case data across North Carolina counties. Manual data retrieval from multiple county systems was time-consuming and error-prone, while delays in processing legal PDFs hindered timely insights. There was no automation for equity calculations or property assessments, and skip tracing was handled without a systematic approach. Limited scalability made it difficult to manage rising case volumes, and fragmented data sources further prevented the extraction of actionable strategies. The existing manual workflows could no longer support the growing need for accurate and timely foreclosure data analysis.

Solutions

To modernize foreclosure data processing, we implemented a fully automated, serverless AWS pipeline that enables end-to-end case handling and delivers actionable insights at scale. Using EventBridge, Lambda, and Batch, the system automates daily case retrieval across multiple counties. AWS Textract and GPT handle OCR and document parsing, with Playwright managing automated PDF downloads. Equity analysis is powered by NC OneMap, classifying properties for investment prioritization. Skip tracing is integrated via API, with CRM sync handled through Airtable. GPT-4 generates strategic recommendations, while RDS, S3, and CloudWatch provide structured data storage, file management, and observability—ensuring high performance, scalability, and zero manual effort.
